Leaf wetness sensor M1-BF

Description

M1-BF is designed detect the wetness of a dummy leaf surface.

Its sensitive element has four electric circuits – gold plated reeds – orientated in four directions, through which electric conduction is measured. Each circuit is angled at about 45° from the vertical direction to simulate the typical position of plant leaves trying to drain-off excess moisture.

It can detect every kind of wetness like rain, irrigation or dew.

IP68 protection useful to activate other devices.

Useful in greenhouses to keep the cuttings wet.
