Load cells are used for the monitoring of forces acting on structural elements and test systems, ensuring reliable and repeatable measurements over time.
The load cells are made of special stainless steel and equipped with a complete strain gauge bridge, a solution that ensures signal stability and long-term reliability. An internal thermal compensation reduces the influence of temperature variations on the measurement, improving accuracy even in outdoor environments or under significant thermal excursions.
Each load cell is tested and calibrated in the laboratory before installation to verify its metrological performance and measurement accuracy. Tecnopenta also offers an on-site calibration service for load cells, performed with certified instrumentation, allowing periodic checks to be carried out directly on the system without the need for disassembly.
The electrical signals generated by the load cells can be acquired through a multichannel datalogger such as the FlexLog D1 and transmitted via GSM to a data collection and processing center. The system allows remote measurement access through a web platform, making load cell monitoring continuous and easily accessible.
