The pocket penetrometer, also known as the tubular pocket penetrometer, allows you to classify soil samples or drill cores according to their compressive strength.
The compression values are read on a graduated scale and are expressed in kg/cm². The device is built in anodized aluminum, a material considered more resistant than steel.
It can be used in conjunction with the Vane Test to determine the internal friction angle.
It includes a protective case and an Allen key for disassembly and cleaning. The adapter for soft ground measurements can also be provided upon request.
