The M1-D1 is a vane wind direction sensor, made of painted light alloy and stainless steel.

Commonly used in meteorological and environmental control applications.

The vane shaft turns on special low friction bearings, offering excellent durability and continuity of operation even in dusty environments.

Its output signal is generated by an absolute encoder with a 360 degree electric track.

It can be equipped with a heating system to prevent freezing of the moving parts in mountain environments.
