Leaf wetness sensor
The M1-BF leaf wetness sensor is an instrument used in the agronomic field to determine the degree of leaf wetness.
Its sensitive element consists of electrical circuits with comb-shaped gold electrodes inclined at 45°, simulating the typical position of plant leaves trying to drain excess moisture.
When the surface gets wet, conductivity reaches its maximum level.
It detects wetness from rain, dew, condensation, artificial vaporization, or irrigation.
The waterproof sensor can be used to drive other equipment in automated systems.
Particularly useful in greenhouses, where it is necessary to maintain specific environmental conditions favorable to the cultivation cycle.
The leaf wetness sensor also aids in growing new plants from stem cuttings.
