The I1-Velocity Doppler is an advanced ultrasonic velocity sensor for liquids, designed for hydraulic applications where precise and reliable flow measurement is required.

It operates fully immersed in the liquid and provides bidirectional measurements in a range from 10 mm/s to 5 m/s, with a resolution of 1 mm/s. It is ideal for wastewater monitoring, open channels, drainage systems, and environmental monitoring.

The minimum immersion depth required is just 30 mm, allowing use even in shallow conditions while maintaining measurement effectiveness.

A distinctive feature of the 1-Velocity Doppler is its automatic correction of measurements based on liquid temperature, compensating for changes in the speed of sound to ensure data accuracy.

The sensor communicates via RS485 interface using the Modbus RTU protocol, supporting both direct data requests from the datalogger and timed data transmissions.

It integrates an Adaptive Measurement System developed by Mainstream, which analyzes hydraulic conditions in real time and optimizes signal acquisition times to ensure consistent and reliable measurements.

The device continuously monitors signal quality and provides diagnostic metrics. It also generates velocity histograms and received signal profiles to verify data coherence and detect possible operational anomalies.

Its internal processing selects only data containing verified velocity information, ensuring maximum data integrity.

Thanks to these features, the 1-Velocity Doppler offers a complete, versatile, and reliable solution for liquid flow velocity measurement, even in complex and variable environments.
