The I1-Multipar multiparameter probe by Tecnopenta is designed for water quality monitoring in surface water, groundwater and marine environments.

By integrating different sensors into a single instrument, it can simultaneously acquire up to seven physical and chemical water parameters, adapting the configuration to specific monitoring requirements.

Its robust, compact and balanced structure allows the probe to be used even under demanding operating conditions, down to a maximum depth of 350 metres.

Measurable parameters

The I1-Multipar probe can be configured to measure several parameters useful for the characterization and control of water quality:

  • Temperature: water temperature measurement using an RTD Pt1000 sensor.
  • Pressure and depth: measurement of hydrostatic pressure and immersion depth.
  • Electrical conductivity: for characterizing physicochemical properties and changes in mineralization.
  • pH: for determining the acidity or alkalinity of the water.
  • Redox potential (ORP): for assessing the electrochemical conditions of the water.
  • Dissolved oxygen: a key parameter for monitoring the quality of aquatic environments.
  • Turbidity: for monitoring environmental variations and the presence of suspended particles.

Modular configuration and maintenance

The customizable configuration allows sensors to be selected according to the parameters to be monitored, installation depth and application requirements.

The electrodes and transducers are designed to be easily replaceable, simplifying maintenance and calibration operations, including directly in the field.

This makes the probe suitable both for periodic measurement campaigns and for continuous monitoring systems and long-term installations.

Main applications

The multiparameter water probe can be used in a wide range of environmental and hydrological monitoring applications:

  • monitoring the quality of surface water and groundwater;
  • environmental monitoring of rivers, lakes and water basins;
  • monitoring reservoirs and storage basins;
  • oceanographic and limnological studies;
  • monitoring marine and coastal waters;
  • measurement campaigns and environmental characterization;
  • scientific research and hydrological monitoring;
  • continuous monitoring systems with automatic data acquisition.

Data acquisition and management

The I1-Multipar probe can be connected to external data acquisition systems and integrated with Tecnopenta data loggers for automatic measurement recording.

Depending on the selected configuration, the system can support periodic or continuous acquisition of monitored parameters and remote data transmission.

Integration with Tecnopenta’s METRA web platform, subject to verification of compatibility and system configuration, makes it possible to centralize data consultation and visualization.
