With a diameter of only 10 mm and a length of 86.5 mm, it allows compact measurement points to be created and can also be installed in small-diameter pipes and locations with limited access.
The sensor detects the hydrostatic pressure generated by the liquid column through a piezoresistive sensing element.
The pressure is converted into a 0–100 mV analogue signal, which can be acquired by a compatible data logger or monitoring system.
The I1-B1 N10 performs a relative pressure measurement. The compensation tube integrated into the cable references the sensor to atmospheric pressure, automatically compensating for its variations.
The measurement range is 0–1 bar, with an accuracy of ±0.5% full scale.
The housing is made of 1.4435 stainless steel, while the cable is made of PUR polyurethane with an integrated barometric compensation tube.
The POM end protection and compact dimensions make the sensor suitable for measurement in liquids compatible with the construction materials and in installations where available space is limited.
The cable length is defined according to the installation requirements.
The miniature hydrostatic level sensor can be used in a range of monitoring applications:
The sensor is equipped with a POM end protection and does not have a porous filter.
For this reason, it is not suitable for direct installation in soil or in the presence of mud and sediment.
